This ( 16"W - 28"H - 7"D ) rock is built around the phrase "The Lord Is My Rock"
with the cross being made from some burnt 1" by 3" scraps and has 5 actual old rusty railroad spikes attached in the pattern of a body, but to represent the spikes used to nail Jesus to the cross. The red paint on the spikes is let us know blood was indeed shed.  The rock itself is a split field stone that provided a flat surface to write the phrase out in black, yellow and red. The crown of thorns is a circle of vines with a number of thorn apples twigs attached and with red paint dripping from the tips of the many thorns.
The signs read:
