12"W - 17"H - 10"D
PETRIFIED ROCK SEED
This ( 12"W - 17"H - 10"D ) rock is mounted on an old board found by the road side, with a
shelf made from a pine slab. The chunks of petrified wood on the shelf, were found
in the local area, while the 6" by 8" cone, came from my brother Bob, over 40 years ago, and has
been Christmas decor for many years. The real seeds dropped out many years ago, so are
possibly in the process of becoming real petrified wood some where in the
country. The seeds you see here will be a while, before becoming petrified
wood. These seeds are already rock and petrified, so they can only be, "Petrified Rock
Seeds". Right? The pine needles are from a tree in my yard,
along with a few small cones for decor.
The sign reads:

Ever wonder where Petrified Wood comes from?
These large cones are loaded with seeds that can see.
This one is 6 inches by 8 inches or 19 inches around.
The "Petrified Rock Seeds" fall all over the ground.
After a hundred years or more, you'll find they have
grown into Petrified Wood, which is a form of Rock.
